Off-Grid Credenza
Our Off-Grid Credenza takes inspiration from the distinctive checkerboard pattern and functional pivot hinge of a Door for an Inner Room made in the late 19th century by an unnamed Baule artist in what is now the Ivory Coast.
With the check pattern originating as far back as 10,000 BC as a by-product of the textile weaving process, we wanted to ensure our interpretation held space for all of the history and references the image brings up, while still creating a functional piece of furniture for contemporary interiors.
Built-to-order in the Pacific Northwest from FSC certified solid American ash. Available in custom sizes with a choice of ash with a clear oil or black stain finish or walnut. Custom wood species are also possible.
