Taking inspiration from a collection of hand carved tables, a scooped out tabletop with a sloping underbelly is created with a little help from technology. This series explores how shaped tabletops in dimensions suited for contemporary life can be milled to avoid warping or cracking over time. The result is a sculptural form that is striking and memorable.
Built in the Pacific Northwest from solid American walnut. Available in custom sizes with a clear oil finish. Also available in ash and Douglas Fir.
